Introduction

ZORRAM is a line of memory expansion cards for Commodore Amiga big box computers. These cards are designed to add Fast RAM to classic systems, allowing them to run more complex software and multi-task more effectively.

ZORRAM A4000 adds up to 256MB extra memory and is compatible with the Amiga 4000, 4000T, 3000 and 3000T.

ZORRAM A2000 adds 8MB extra Fast memory to the Amiga 2000 or 1500.

Installation

Ensure you are anti-statically protected before handling the ZORRAM card and attempting installation. The Amiga should be powered down before installation

ZORRAM A4000

When installed into the Zorro slot, the TOP symbol on the ZORRAM A4000 card should be facing the the top of the Amiga 4000 case. The FRONT symbol should be closest to the front of the Amiga 4000 case.

Ensure your Zorro III slots are cleaned with anti-static brush and IPA solution for good connection. You may get card defective errors if the Zorro slot pins are corroded or dirty.

Multiple ZORRAM A4000 can be installed into the Amiga 4000 / 3000 to give larger amount of Fast memory:
