Introduction
OctaMED is famous music tracker software for the Commodore-Amiga computer and Amiga-like platforms such as the A600GS.

Releases
OctaMED SoundStudio v1.03c was released in 1996. The internal version for this was version 7.
OctaMED v8.1 was developed in 2024 as a continuation of the original source code. This version is distributed on the A600GS computer system and due for wider release as a boxed commercial product and digital download.
Version Information
Current version is 8.1 bundled with the A600GS computer system. In 2024 it is due to be released as a separate digital download and boxed software for Commodore-Amiga and Amiga compatible systems.
