Introduction
AmiBench is a proprietry desktop environment developed by AmigaKit Ltd for the A600GS, Commodore-Amiga computers and Next Generation Amiga-like computers.
It is built upon AmigaKit's System Release V46 distribution.

Components
AK-Datatypes
AK-Datatypes is a datatype system which was originally developed for the Commodore-Amiga computer by Andreas Kleinert. In 2019 it was wholly acquired by AmigaKit Ltd.
Subsequent years have seen substantial development overhaul and updates to the datatypes.
AK-Datatypes has been developed for 680x0 found in Commodore-Amiga in the Release V46 branch. Concurrently it has been developed for Next Generation systems such as A-EON's X5000 in the Release V54 branch.
